Both dog & cat services have new rates, priced by breed.
Every October, the Pawlush team reviews our operations to ensure we can continue delivering the high-quality, Gentle & Creative Pet Grooming your dogs deserve. To maintain our standards while supporting our staff and covering the rising costs of premium grooming supplies, we are updating our pricing structure.
Instead of our traditional flat-rate annual increase based on weight, we are transitioning to breed-specific pricing.
We are making this change for a few key reasons:
- Fairness and Accuracy: A dog's weight does not always reflect the time, specialized techniques, and premium products required to properly groom them.
- Coat Complexity: Long-haired and thick-coated breeds require significantly more intensive care and time than short-haired breeds of the exact same weight.
- Tailored Care: This new model ensures our rates accurately reflect the specific expertise and attention your unique dog requires.
Because these new rates are customized by breed rather than a flat percentage across the board, the impact on your individual grooming cost will vary. Some clients will see a price decrease or no change at all, while specific breeds will see an increase.
